More Pickleball Paddle modifications with the XTP butt cap.

With Wilson Sporting Goods recently launching the newest Vesper line of Pickleball Paddles,the two models being Vesper Power & Vesper Control,we did modifications for a player on a Vesper Power Paddle adding half an inch to the overall length of this Padddle by removing the factory butt cap & installing the XTP tennis butt cap.Factory length on this Vesper Power paddle is 16.5 inches by adding the XTP butt cap it now was 17 inches in length. (The GRIPSIZE cap on this paddle is 4 1/8 diameter and required our size L1 cap so keep in mind you need to know the GRIPSIZE of your paddle your going to modify so you can order the correct GRIPSIZE cap .). MOST PICKLEBALL PADDLE GRIPS ARE L0,L1,L2 and we have seen some L3 even.Please research your GRIPSIZE on your paddle so you can order the correct GRIPSIZE,,and don’t mistake Handel length with GRIPSIZE diameter. We also just recently modified a Vesper Control pickleball paddle for another player by removing the factory Wilson butt cap and installing the XTP butt cap to this paddle adding half an inch lenght taking it from a factory 16 inch paddle to a 16.5 total lenght paddle,this paddle also required an L1 gripsize cap for installing..”Many Tennis shops with a good knowledge of Tennis and now Paddle Modification can easily install the cap on your Pickleball Paddle,but most users are doing this at home with a few basic tools like pliers, a sharp awl for taking staples out of factory butt cap for removal,somekind of FLEXIBLE rubber cement and a heat gun or a regular hairdryer can be used to heat the butt cap up prior to installing. PLAYERS are using the XTP butt cap on just about all brands of Pickleball Paddles and each company makes their Paddles in various gripsize, currently probably the most popular size is 4 1/8 witch is a L1 cap,the next most popular gripsize is probably 4 1/4 or L2 cap and many companies do make 4.0 or L0 cap GRIPSIZE.
